Enjoying and enjoying a weekend in an Argentinean farm is a unique, unforgettable experience.

In a previous post I had made some references to some specific issues related to rural tourism in this post.

Today I want to dwell on the strictly family aspect, on that daily reality that makes people living in that rural environment remain (even with all the satellite technology at their fingertips) isolated from the mundane noise, living with an exquisite quality of life. That cannot be told with all the details. You have to live it.

But anyway, I want to bring to your memory some examples that can illustrate with pictures what I am trying to say with words.

Living and being in close contact with all animals, touching them, playing with them without any fear or danger.

Here we go.

Hoy me quiero detener en el aspecto estrictamente familiar, en esa realidad cotidiana que hace que las personas que viven en esa entorno rural se mantienen (aún con toda la tecnología satlital a su alcance) aislados del mundanal ruido, viviendo con una calidad de vida exquisita. Que no se puede contar con todos los detalles. Hay que vivirla.

Pero de cualquier manera quiero traerles a la memoria algunos ejemplos que puedan graficar con fotos todo lo que estoy tratando de decir con palabras.

Convivir y estar a estrecho contacto con todos los animales, tocarlos, jugar con ellos sin ningún temor o peligro.

Ahí vamos.

Contact with animals is an experience in itself.

Seeing them through television, internet and/or social networks and having them there, inches away from us, being able to touch and pet them is an experience that cannot be recounted.

Far away is the image of wild, frightened animals wandering in the middle of the pampas plains.

The calf first looks at us, smells us, then it lets itself be caressed and leaves with its mother.

The maternal instinct for protection and survival prevails in the end. Even in animals.

El contacto con los animales es una experiencia en si misma.

Verlos a través de la televisión, de internet y/o de las redes sociales y tenerlo ahí, a centímetros de nosotros, poder tocarlos y acariciarlos es una experiencia que no se puede relatar.

Lejos está la imagen de los animales salvajes, asustadizos que vagan en medio de la llanura pampeana.

El ternerito primero nos mira, nos huele, luego se deja acariciar y se va con su mamá.

El instinto maternal de protección y sobrevivencia prevalece al final. Aún en los animales.

While the rest of the animals, a few meters away, watch us in the most aboslute indifference.

They consider that the humans present do not represent any danger. ....

Mientras el resto de los animales, a escasos metros de distancia, nos observa en la más abosluta indiferencia.

Consideran que los humanos presentes no representan ningún peligro....

While the classic all-terrain pickup is always ready for any emergency.

An invaluable tool and means of work in any factory.

Usually under a plant. Ready to come out at any time. No shortage of emergencies.

Mientras la clásica pickup todo-terreno está siempre lista para cualquier emergencia.

Un instrmento y medio de trabajo invalorable en cualquier factoría.

Normalmente debajo de una planta. Pronta a salir en cualquier momento. Las emergencias no faltan.

And in the midst of all this rural life, there is no lack of the traditional pets so common in the city.

Here they are less dangerous, and cats instead of hating each other with dogs, make common cause and become their best friends.

Although this cat seems to exaggerate. He is using the dog as a roof, hiding under it.

Clearly there is total empathy between the two.

Y en medio de toda esta vida rural no faltan las tradicionales mascotas tan comunes en la ciudad.

Aqui corren menos peligros, y los gatos en vez de odiarse con los perros, hacen causa común y se transforman en sus mejores amigos.

Aunque este gato parece exagerar. Está usando al perro como techo, escondiéndose debajo de él.

Evidentemente hay una empatía total entre ambos.

And we remember to be happy, tired and hungry.....

It's time to eat a delicious asado. As it could not be otherwise.

Hasta que llega el atardecer.

Y nos acordamos de estar contentos, cansados y con....hambre.

Es la hora de comer un rico asado. Como no podía ser de otra manera.
